Membership Plans

LKB Development offers membership plans billed on a monthly basis with an annual commitment. Membership details, including pricing, included hours, and benefits, are described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing members.

Money-Back Guarantee

If you are not satisfied after your first service visit, we will refund all monthly membership payments you have made and release you from your annual commitment. The only charges that apply are for hours actually worked, billed at our standard non-member rate. This guarantee applies to first-time members only and must be requested within 7 days of your first completed service visit.

Service Scope

LKB Development provides general handyman and home repair services including minor plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixture installation, and general maintenance. We do not perform work requiring specialized licenses (HVAC installation, full electrical panel upgrades, structural modifications, roofing) or building permits. We may refer you to trusted vendors for work outside our scope.

Scheduling and Cancellations

We strive to accommodate preferred scheduling dates. Members receive priority scheduling over non-members. We request at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations. Repeated no-shows may result in account review.

Billing and Payments

Membership fees are billed monthly to the payment method on file. Additional hours beyond included plan hours are billed at the member rate ($80/hr). Materials are billed at cost with receipts provided. Outstanding balances are due upon receipt. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Liability

LKB Development carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. Our liability for any claim arising from services provided is limited to the cost of the specific service performed. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage caused by normal wear and tear, or issues outside the scope of work performed.

Account Termination

Either party may terminate a membership by providing written notice. Early termination of an annual commitment may result in forfeiture of member pricing for services already rendered, which will be rebilled at the standard non-member rate. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for violation of these terms, non-payment, or abusive behavior toward our staff.

Intellectual Property

All content on lkbny.com, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of LKB Development and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration in Nassau County, New York, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to conflict of law provisions.
